Alcohol Rehab and Inpatient Care

'One reason that many people feel more comfortable with [Sunset Malibu's] inpatient Alcohol Treatment Facility rather than other ones is because not only are we able to make the proper accommodations for someone with special needs but we have many therapeutic offers that others do not such as different types of active therapy.

Even small amounts of alcohol affect your body and the larger the amount you take in the more damage it can and will do. The effects that alcohol has on a person can be treated but the primary things that need to be treated are the alcohol addiction itself....' (Stacey Juanalow)

'...Alcohol rehab is an alcoholic’s last best chance. It might sound dramatic, but it’s the truth: You can’t overcome alcoholism without alcohol treatment, and you can’t beat alcohol addiction outside of an alcohol treatment center. If you’re going to get better, if you’re going to get sober and stay sober, you need the kind of help that only alcohol rehabilitation can provide. There is, in the end, no more important decision you could ever make.

So there’s no confusion: Alcohol rehab isn’t easy. The alcohol rehab process is an arduous one, and only those alcohol rehab patients who commit themselves to the struggle can ever hope to achieve lasting alcohol rehab recovery. There is, in the end, no substitute for courage, and determination; if you’re going to get better in alcohol rehab, you’ve got to be ready for a fight...' (Sunset Malibu)
